An update on changes

I know it’s relatively early for another blog post but something has come up. It does affect my writing and publishing schedule this time around. I don’t like making these decisions but I have to think about what’s best in the end.

The first thing is that I have to postpone Patterns & Parallels #2 to a November/December release. That means it’s not going to come out in the summer like I thought. It was between postponing that or TRA #2 and the latter has more stuff ready for it than the former. So it basically means that only one book is coming out in the fall before SASS, not two like planned. I have to cut back on expenses now. Why, you ask? Because now I’m getting ready to make some audiobooks! Therefore, that’s going to take up some time!

So these are the books that will come out before SASS:

Sweet Love    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YQA1UDG?*Version*=1&*entries*=0

Secrets Under the Big Top PC Case #1)     http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZB3IJX6?*Version*=1&*entries*=0

Four of the Usual Suspects (PC #2)    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V93QGCI?*Version*=1&*entries*=0

Ghosts of Burning Inn #1     http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TJ44MJI?*Version*=1&*entries*=0

The Reapers Apprentices #2 coming soon)

After SASS:

Patterns & Parallels #2

Possibly PC Case #2 if I can finish it up on time.

So this is a new venture for me  but hopefully a good one. As far as writing goes, TRA #2 is at 60K now (and really close to finished) and Black Paradise Circus #2 (also called PC Case #2) is at 26K. I also wrote a little bit of Cirque Macabre #2. (No, I didn’t forget that one! I finally got some inspiration to write it)

Hopefully, that’s all there is for now. See you next week.

Countdown to new books

Whew, it’s been a while! I had the boyfriend sprain his ankle this week plus work and writing are taking up my time. I do have some news though.

The first is that I’m unpublishing Wrapped on Kindle for a temporary time. I just need to fix some stuff within it. I promise it will be back! It’s only the ebook though. Paperback is still available though.

Part two: I’m going to have a release party for the next Portman’s Creamery book, Four of the Usual Suspects. I’m assuming it will be out April 24th, give or take a few days. The release party on Facebook will be the day before it’s out. Once I get my final cover files, I’ll get to putting that together. There will be a sign up sheet for authors and people wanting to come! Stay tuned for those.

Third, I’m going to try and make teasers for things now. I have no artistic skills but a friend of mine does. I’ll see if she can help me out. If there’s someone else who has these skills, let me know!

Updates on stories:

Patterns & Parallels #2: Is currently at 32K.

Portman’s Creamery Black Paradise Circus Arc: Is currently at 23K. Most likely the next book after P&P.

TRA #2: Was split into two books. First part is sitting at 18K right now. I’ll go back to it after P&P #2 is done.

Ghosts #2: At 3K. Not really trying to finish this right now.

OG #3 & 4: On back burner. Not sure when #2 will be out either.

Cirque #2: Need to start over on it.

I also have another series idea but I don’t want to start on it now. Not until one of these book series’ ends. (Most likely, P&P will end before the others).

Now I’ve got to get back to work.

Much love to all of you,

Coming up in 2015

So I did promise to talk more about what’s coming in 2015. There’s at least three books that I’m sure will be out this year, possibly another one or two more. A lot has been going on in my personal life that has slowed me down a bit but I have not stopped writing. I usually try to write 1000 words a day, more if I can manage. I wish I could write all day but that’s not possible.

Anyway, upcoming books for 2015:

-Into the Limelight (I’m aiming for February/March 2015, may be sooner or later). This is the first book in my rocker romance series, Ghosts of Burning Inn. You’re going to follow Ben and Catherine’s relationship from the moment Catherine joins the band and through the growing popularity of the band. It’s not NC-17 though they do talk about certain things that you shouldn’t talk about in front of your children XD. (Will I ever do erotica in this series? It is possible 😉 )

-Paper Hearts (Most likely May/June 2015). The second book in the Patterns and Parallel’s Saga. We follow the events after Hearts Under Ice and see how Donnie and Olivia handle being in a new world completely made of paper. Also, more on their growing relationship.

-Four of the Usual Suspects (Anywhere between February to July 2015). This is the next mystery in the Portman’s Creamery series. We’ve got another murder mystery where the killer is named. Unfortunately, the case is not as simple as it looks. I’m not sure when I can finish with this one. It’s currently at 19K.

The might be coming out in 2015 books:

-The Anti-Genome Group (Fall/Winter 2015 most likely). The book is ready, I just need time to get it edited and formatted. I have no idea when I’ll do that. This is the sequel to Operation: Genome #1.

-Unlikely Allies (Fall/Winter 2015 as well). The sequel to TRA#1. This book is currently at 14K.

I know people are waiting Cirque Macabre #2 but that book is currently a mess. I need time to weed through it, lol. If I’m lucky, I can try to have it ready by end of the year. Also on my plate are starting the third books to P&P, the next book to Ghosts of Burning Inn, and finishing another Portman’s Creamery mystery. I’ve also made some playlists for my books, which I will post one day.

I have some sales and freebies coming up in the future (to celebrate my upcoming birthday, really). I’m also planning to get more swag later in the year for my signing in October. I will also get the paperback to Hearts Under Ice up this month too.

In the meantime, you can still check HUI as an ebook out on Amazon. Hopefully, I will remember to use the right links this time. Only posting a few here but it is out in all Amazon sites:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RC5GO5Q (US)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00RC5GO5Q (UK)

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00RC5GO5Q (CAN)

https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00RC5GO5Q (GER)

That’s it for now. Let’s hope I survive this year!

New swag and updates

I got some new poker chips made thanks to the Swag Shop and Brandielynn over at Facebook (I apologize if I misspelled your name). They look so nifty and I’ll be giving them away at Philly in a few months! I’m also trying to get more swag done for that and other signings in the future.

As far as writing goes, I have hit 67K on Hearts Under Ice and 83K on Operation: Genome #2. The sequel is slated for early 2015 (I doubt I will be ready before then). In the meantime, if you never read book one, check it out. It is only 99 cents on Kindle and it will give you an idea of what the story is about.

(I’m only posting a few links but the book should be available on pretty much all Amazon sites).

I’ll be on the hunt for new covers soon and will have news on when Wrapped is coming out. *Hint: Very soon*

Take care.

New month, new stuff

Happy 1st of July and Canada Day to my Canadian friends out there!

On the writing front, I’m slowly tying up loose ends in Operation: Genome #2. My goal is to have that one completely done by August.

Another thing is I’ve got one signing in July of next year in Georgia. I hope to see you guys there next year and hopefully there will be a lot more books to talk about too! I personally am going to share tables since I don’t have to many things to bring nor am I bringing anyone with me.

In the meantime, I’m going to try and stay inside and stay cool cause it’s crazy hot down here!

Take care,

Slight apologies and bargain stuff

I haven’t been able to post in my poor blog as of late thanks to school. Go figure all professors pile up on the schoolwork at the same time XD I’m still trying to squeeze in my writing time though. Fortunately, one class ends tomorrow so that will leave me a little more time to focus on the good stuff 🙂

I’m still trying to get TRA paperback out (once I find someone who can do print formatting). In the meantime, here are some bargain books (only .99). They are all available around the world too.

I hope I can get you some new news next week!
